Praise God! Muriel was released from the hospital this afternoon, Thursday, October 29th, and I’ve just gotten her settled in at our cabin in Pinetop, AZ.

Her INR is now at a rate of 3 that is a safe range to avoid more clotting. She will remain on Coumadin, which is an anticoagulant that helps reduce clots from forming in the blood. She’ll continue to have frequent blood tests so her physician can monitor her blood clotting rate. Muriel has been placed on medical leave with the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) and will remain in Arizona as she recovers from the pulmonary embolism as well as Addison’s disease which she has been dealing with this year.

We are so grateful for all the prayers for Muriel’s recovery as well as the numerous messages, calls and gifts. And yes, God is so very good! We can never thank God or bless God enough for God’s grace, love, forgiveness and care. Psalm 103 says it all.

“O my soul, bless GOD. From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name! O my soul, bless GOD, don’t forget a single blessing! He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one. He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence. God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet”. Psalm 103:1-6 (The Message)

We will have periodic updates on Muriel’s recovery posted on the GYTTE mission program website, www.gytte.org at the link titled “Henderson’s Family Update”.
