“More Than A Bandage ” - Community-Based, Primary Health Care - Scholarships: The “Give Ye Them To Eat” program (GYTTE) sponsors training courses to prepare village women as primary health providers and furnishes them with teaching materials and first-aid kits to address health issues and health needs in their communities.

“Pueblo Partners” – Scholarship opportunities to train people in Agricultural, Community and Livestock Development: GYTTE sponsors three-day workshops to prepare village men, women and youth as resource persons to lead their family and neighbors through a development process that empowers people to improve life and living within their own culture, community and family.

Livestock Development Projects : GYTTE distributes livestock to families in need of income and food producing animals who have completed a livestock development workshop and have built an adequate shelter for their animal and contract to works in conjunction with GYTTE in their livestock project.

 

 

Church & Faith Development : GYTTE offers training events and scholarships to assist in the preparation of church leaders, teachers and clergy as well as producing, compiling and distributing Christian Education materials to nurture the congregations of the Methodist Church of Mexico.

“GIVE YE THEM TO EAT” is an Advance Special Project of the United Methodist Church . Financial gifts can be sent to the Advance Office of the General Board of Global Ministries. There are two options available to process your gift.

Drop your gift in the offering plate or give the check to your church treasurer to send to the conference, so that your church and annual conference will get Advance credit.
